What we diagnose and repair

We work at the component level—not just swapping modules or replacing whole boards. If a single chip, connector, or trace is the problem, that’s what we fix.

Finding the Problem

  • Tracing faults on the circuit board (short circuits, broken connections, power issues)
  • Intermittent or hard-to-reproduce failure diagnosis
  • Testing communication between chips and components (I2C, SPI, UART)
  • Water / liquid damage assessment
  • Review of previous repair attempts that didn’t hold

Component Repair & Soldering

  • Replacing through-hole and standard surface-mount components (0805, 0603, and similar)
  • Connector, switch, headphone jack, and cable replacement
  • Circuit board trace repair and damaged pad restoration
  • Soldering in tight spaces and on standard-pitch surface-mount components

Power Problems

  • Power supply voltage diagnostics
  • Charger, battery, and charging circuit faults
  • Overcurrent protection and short-circuit issues
  • Voltage regulator testing and replacement

Data Recovery

  • Recovering files from dead or failing hard drives and SSDs
  • NAS and RAID data extraction
  • USB flash drive and SD card recovery
  • Drive imaging and cloning for at-risk media

How a job works

  1. You describe the problem: photos, symptoms, and what you’ve already tried.
  2. We review and confirm: we agree on the goal, approach, and what happens next.
  3. We check in before proceeding: work happens in stages so there are no surprise charges.
  4. We do the work: repair, recovery, or diagnosis.
  5. We test the result: functional checks and measurements to confirm it’s working.
  6. You get it back with notes: a written summary of what was found and done.
Good candidates for repair
  • Devices that fail intermittently
  • Power issues (won’t charge, won’t turn on)
  • Damaged ports or connectors
  • Water damage
  • “It works sometimes” problems
  • Testing after a DIY repair
  • Data trapped on a dead device

Not every device is economically repairable—you’ll always get clear findings and honest options. Serving Blue Ridge, GA and within approximately 1 hour’s drive.
