1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Gorton Solutions website (“gorton-solutions.web.app” and any custom domain pointing to it), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Services overview

Gorton Solutions provides tech services including electronics repair, 3D printing and fabrication, web development, IoT, automation, and consulting. This website serves as an informational and intake platform for those services.

Specific service terms (pricing, turnaround, scope) are agreed upon individually for each job. The information on this website is for general reference and does not constitute a binding offer or guarantee of availability.

3. AI chat assistant

Our website includes an AI-powered chat assistant to help gather project details and answer basic questions. Please note:

• The assistant is powered by Google Gemini AI and may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete responses.
• Chat responses are not binding quotes, commitments, or professional advice. Final pricing and scope are confirmed by a human.
• Information you provide in the chat (name, phone, email, project details) is stored and used as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Do not share sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, passwords) through the chat.

4. Engagement games & leaderboards

Our interactive engagement games (Cosmic Drift, Snake, Block Stacker, and future titles) are provided for entertainment and demonstration purposes.

• Leaderboard participation is optional and requires Google Sign-In for some games.
• We reserve the right to remove scores or reset leaderboards at any time (for maintenance, abuse prevention, or game updates).
• Games are provided “as is” without warranty of availability or functionality.
• You agree not to manipulate scores, exploit bugs, or interfere with other users’ experience.

5. Repair & fabrication jobs

• Estimates are not guarantees. Actual repair time and cost may vary once we inspect the device or project materials.
• Authorization required. We do not begin billable work without your approval. If diagnostics reveal the cost would exceed what makes sense, we’ll let you know and you can decide whether to proceed.
• Bench minimum. The minimum charge for any bench job is 1 hour at the current standard rate. See the Fix & Recover page or reach out for current rates.
• Liability limitation. While we take reasonable care with every device or project, Gorton Solutions is not liable for pre-existing damage, data loss, or failures that occur after repair due to unrelated causes. Maximum liability for any job is limited to the amount paid for that job.
• Abandoned items. Items left unclaimed for 60 days after notification of completion may be disposed of or recycled.

6. Intellectual property

• All website content, design, code, and game assets are the property of Gorton Solutions unless otherwise noted.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer our games, code, or design without written permission.
• Custom engagement tools built for clients remain the property of the client once paid in full, unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the website or chat for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, Firebase project, or data.
• Submit false or misleading information through the intake chat.
• Interfere with or disrupt the website, games, or services.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the site beyond normal browsing.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

This website and all services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gorton Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this website or our services.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Fannin County, Georgia.

11. Changes to these terms
